Description
Amethyst Ketubah
The Amethyst Ketubah by Mickie Caspi incorporates the stunning watercolor skill of the artist in this delicate image inspired by the opulence of amethyst. Amethyst is one of the twelve precious gems used in the breastplate of the high priest (Exodus 28:19 and 39:12). The special diamond, holographic silver foil shines and shimmers in varied, subtle colors as would actual jewels.
The Amethyst Ketubah was drawn by hand by the artist using pen & ink and watercolor and then printed in Israel on archival lithographic paper.
For the B- Traditional Aramaic with Contemporary English (Orthodox) text, the two witnesses sign in both Hebrew & English.
If you want to read the actual ketubah texts, click on the Read Ketubah Texts link. If you would like Mickie to create a custom, original ketubah for you, contact us via email or phone (1-800-538-8268). You can see samples of original ketubot (plural of ketubah) at at Mickie’s Original Ketubah Gallery. You also have the option to purchase the Amethyst Original Ketubah that was handcrafted and illuminated by Mickie in 2010.
Since the Amethyst Ketubah does not have any images or quotes specific to a wedding, it can be used to create other documents such as tribute gifts, special event mementos or honorariums.
